Raihan Vadra and Aviva Baig, who have been best friends since the age of three, are set to tie the knot.
The happy news was shared by Raihan’s mother, Indian Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in a heartfelt Instagram post. She shared a picture of the couple from childhood alongside a recent photo, writing:
“Love you both very much. May you always love and respect each other and remain the best friends you have been since you were 3!”
Raihan’s father, businessman Robert Vadra, also offered his blessings. In a message on Instagram, he wrote:
“Raihan and Aviva! My son comes of age and finds his life partner. My heartfelt blessings to them for a life filled with happiness, unwavering togetherness, love, and strength. May they walk this journey hand in hand, growing and thriving together.”
The couple is set to get engaged in a private family event in Rajasthan, planned for early January. The ceremony is expected to be a low-key, two-to-three-day affair, keeping celebrations intimate and away from public attention.
Raihan, 25, is a photographer with a focus on nature and wildlife. Aviva, based in Delhi, works in creative fields and has a background in Media Communications and Journalism. She is also a professional photographer and producer, as well as a former national-level footballer.
Their lifelong friendship and shared passions make this story of love and companionship all the more special.
