The bodies of Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, close friends of international boxing star Anthony Joshua, have been flown abroad for burial following their tragic deaths in a car accident.
The fatal crash occurred on December 29 along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Makun, Ogun State. Joshua and his friends were travelling in a Lexus SUV when the vehicle collided with a stationary truck on the road. The impact claimed the lives of Ghami and Ayodele at the scene, while Joshua sustained injuries.
The two men had travelled to Nigeria to spend the Christmas holiday with Joshua, but their visit was tragically cut short by the accident.
Joshua was treated in hospital and discharged on the evening of December 31. Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have now been released and flown abroad ahead of burial arrangements.
