American singer-songwriter and actress Teyana Taylor and British actor Aaron Pierre have reportedly ended their relationship after less than a year together.
According to Page Six, the Straw actress, 35, and the Rebel Ridge actor, 31, are no longer dating. While the reason for the split remains unclear, the report states that the pair have gone their separate ways.
Taylor and Pierre first sparked dating rumors earlier this year after attending the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles in February. Weeks later, they appeared together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
Pierre also made an appearance in the trailer for Taylor’s 2025 album, Escape Room, where the two shared a steamy on-screen kiss. By June, the couple made their relationship Instagram official when Taylor posted a heartfelt tribute to Pierre to celebrate his 31st birthday.
The pair later attended the BET Awards in Los Angeles together, where Taylor spoke warmly about Pierre in an interview with Complex, describing him as “very gentle” and saying the relationship made her feel “warm,” “safe,” and no longer “in survival mode.”
Pierre also participated in a panel discussion during Taylor’s album launch, praising her as “really one of one.” The couple even drew attention for wearing matching outfits at promotional events for the project. Escape Room later earned Taylor a Grammy nomination.
