The Hisbah Board in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State has arrested several men and women during a coordinated raid on a house allegedly used for immoral activities, including suspected sexual acts involving unmarried youths.
The board’s Information Officer, Malam Abdullahi Muntari, disclosed this in a statement, stating that the raid took place on December 17, 2025, at about 9:30 p.m.
According to him, the operation was led by the Acting Operations Commander, Malam Aliyu Ahmed, following reports of immoral activities allegedly taking place at the house.
“It is unfortunate that some people are comfortable allowing their house to become a den for immoral activities,” he said.
“We arrested several young men and women, and the matter will be properly investigated.”
Muntari added that the Hisbah Board would continue to carry out such operations to protect the moral values of the community.
