Singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently reminded some X (formerly Twitter) trolls of his family’s wealth.
The exchange began when a troll mocked his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, over his recent defection to the Accord Party. The troll suggested that if the governor loses the state governorship election scheduled for August 8, 2026, Davido would be forced to compose the APC campaign song for 2027.
Davido noticed the comment and responded, implying that if his uncle loses, he could simply return to managing their family’s multi-billion-dollar business. Another X user, seemingly unimpressed by Davido’s reply, told the singer to “go and sit down for ground jor.”
