Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has responded to rumours suggesting she secretly got married.
Speculations had spread that the “Maradona” crooner stepped out of the limelight after tying the knot privately. However, in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the 38-year-old artist debunked the claims, insisting she is not married.
“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says regarding my personal life. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married,” she said.
Speaking on the possibility of collaborating with her younger sister, Teni, Niniola explained that such a project would only happen when the timing and circumstances are right.
She added that music is ultimately a business, emphasizing that “there’s no family in business.”
