An American Airlines passenger, Ketty J. Dilone, was restrained with zip ties and duct tape after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant and launching into a profanity-laced tirade, during which she bizarrely claimed she once tried to poison her father.

The incident occurred on September 16 aboard a Las Vegas-bound flight from Charlotte, N.C., following Dilone’s return trip from the Dominican Republic, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.

Authorities allege Dilone roamed the cabin yelling threats at crew members before flight attendants were forced to subdue her. Even after being restrained, she allegedly kicked a flight attendant, knocking the crew member down.

A viral TikTok video captured Dilone’s outburst, in which she screamed profanities at the crew and shouted: “You don’t know what the f— I’ve been through, bitch! Kill yourself, bitch! You wanna die, bitch?” She also claimed the restraints were hurting her.

In a disturbing turn, Dilone calmly confessed to attempting to poison her father when she was 11 years old. She said she had slipped “roach poison” into his coffee in the Dominican Republic, referring to the pesticide known locally as Tres Pasitos—Spanish for “three little steps”—a toxic chemical banned in the U.S.

“It didn’t work,” she said. “It just put him to sleep.” Dilone then began singing part of a Spanish song titled Tres Pasitos before continuing her rant: “So if anybody wants to kill somebody, put roach poison! But make sure it’s not expired, and make sure you put a lot of it!”

The video ended with Dilone shouting, “The show’s f—ing over,” before rambling incoherently.

Upon landing at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, FBI agents arrested Dilone. She was booked into the Henderson Detention Center and charged with one count of interference with a flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating, or wounding.

Dilone appeared in court on September 18. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 1. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison.
