Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, better known as Odumeje, recently told his congregation that he will decide the day he dies, and when that happens, nobody will see his remains.
The Anambra-based clergyman made this striking declaration during a church service, in a video that has been widely shared online this week.
In the video, Odumeje said,
“I will choose the day I pass away, and nobody will see my remains.”
He went further, insisting,
“I never die. I live forever. And I repeat it more and more: when I die, no one can see my corpse, and that is not a joke. It is a fact.”
This is not the first time Odumeje has spoken about his death in this way. Previously, he said that when he passes on, he would simply “fly away” without anyone witnessing his body.
The recent sermon follows a social media post where Odumeje similarly claimed that his corpse would never be seen when he transitions.
