Two Men Nabbed for Allegedly Defiling Minors in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested two individuals in separate incidents for allegedly defiling underage girls in different parts of the state.

Police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the arrests in a statement issued on Sunday, August 31. According to the report, one of the suspects, Ihechiluru Okorie, was arrested in Oba for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl who had visited his barbershop.

In another case, Chidubem Udem, 28, was arrested by operatives in Eziowelle for allegedly assaulting a 5-year-old girl at her grandmother’s residence.

Both suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to be charged in court on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

The police have reiterated their commitment to protecting minors and bringing offenders to justice.
