Armed bandits have killed one farmer, injured another, and abducted several persons in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The attack occurred on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Sarkin Bajaga village while the victims were working on their farmland, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Security forces were said to have been mobilized to the scene shortly after the incident.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that one Titus Victor, 34, was shot dead, while another, Nathan Andrew, 33, sustained gunshot injuries to his left thigh,” a source disclosed.
The injured victim was taken to Bege Hospital in Maraban Kajuru, where he is receiving treatment. The deceased was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
The source further revealed that an unspecified number of farmers were abducted and taken to an unknown destination.
Security agencies have launched a coordinated operation to rescue the victims and apprehend the attackers.
