Police are investigating the r@pe of a man in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Friday, July 25.
Officers received a report just before 5am that a man in his 20s had been attacked on Temple Lane.
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries.
CCTV and witness investigations are ongoing, and the victim is receiving support from specialist officers.
Detective Constable Alexa Collins said:
“We take reports of s£xual offences very seriously and are keen to speak with the person in the images to assist our investigation.
This was an extremely traumatic experience for the victim, and we are working hard to identify the person responsible. We urge this man, or anyone who recognises him, to contact us.
We also encourage anyone with information about this incident to come forward.”
