Big Brother Naija star, Queen Mercy Atang, and her husband, David Oyekanmi, appear to be fueling speculation about trouble in their marriage.
The couple, who tied the knot in March 2024, have unfollowed each other on social media. David was also recently spotted without his wedding ring, prompting concern from fans. Additionally, he has been liking cryptic posts about expectations of women in relationships.
Queen first unfollowed David in June 2025, sparking rumours of a marital crisis after she deleted their wedding photos from Instagram.
At the time, she addressed the speculation in a viral video, explaining her actions were an attempt to protect her marriage.
“I was trying to take my marriage off social media because my husband’s handle is out there, with a lot of ladies sliding into his DMs with both positive and negative messages.
“I just want to protect my marriage and reduce some of the things I put out there,” she said.
