A 41-year-old woman, Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, was found dead in a suspected case of suicide inside the auditorium of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Prayer City, situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The incident reportedly occurred on the morning of Friday, July 18, 2025, and was first brought to light by the Chief Security Officer of the church, Esiere Ekikere.

Upon arriving at the scene, he discovered the woman unresponsive. Nearby was an empty bottle of a suspected toxic substance, identified as “Sniper,” a known chemical often linked to self-harm cases.
Police officers were called to the location and documented the scene with photographs before the body was moved to the Real Divine Hospital morgue for autopsy.
