Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has come under fire from Nollywood filmmaker Ugezu J. Ugezu over his sustained criticism of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
In a strongly worded post shared on Instagram, Ugezu described Reno’s alleged acceptance of a role to demarket Peter Obi online as “the most dangerous job ever accepted by a mortal in the history of Nigeria’s shady politics.” He suggested that Omokri’s actions would lead to “self-induced ruin,” adding that “even the universe is against him.”
Ugezu also condemned those who knowingly remain silent in the face of truth, warning that such individuals are “doomed.”
Reno Omokri has repeatedly criticized Peter Obi and pledged to work against his presidential ambition, drawing backlash from supporters and political observers alike.
