Actor and filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu has stated that anyone who kills another human being—whether directly or indirectly—cannot be regarded as a true Native doctor or traditionalist.
In a recent post on Instagram, Ugezu explained that traditionalists are spiritually connected to “Aja Ani,” the earth goddess in Igbo mythology associated with fertility, morality, and the earth itself. According to Wikipedia, Aja Ani embodies these principles, and those who truly understand this connection would never commit murder, fully aware of the spiritual consequences.
“Anyone who kills is a cultist,” Ugezu emphasized.
He further argued that many individuals who identify as Dibias (traditional healers) are, in fact, cultists in disguise.
“A cultist is a ritual idiot who is not connected to any Aja Ani. Be careful, brethren,” he warned.
