The world’s inaugural makeup-free beauty queen, Natasha Beresford, is set to lose her Miss London crown as she withdraws from the Miss England competition to fulfill her role as a bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding.

Natasha, 26, emerged victorious in the first-ever makeup-free pageant in Miss London’s 95-year history in 2023, surpassing 18 other contestants who all participated “bare-faced.”

Originally slated to compete in the Miss England final in Wolverhampton in May, Natasha was considered a strong contender for the title. However, she chose to forgo the opportunity as the final coincides with her best friend’s significant day.

Instead of vying for the Miss England title, Natasha will be walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid. The dental nurse, hailing from Sheffield and now residing in London, expressed her gratitude for the support received during her time in the contest, extending well wishes to all Miss England finalists.

Natasha had captivated the Miss England judges with her natural beauty, adorned in a white lace dress by Shikoba Bride, a brand known for ethically and sustainably produced wedding dresses in the UK.

Angie Beasley, the National director of Miss England, expressed disappointment over Natasha’s inability to participate in the final, acknowledging her strong chances. Beasley remarked on the unfortunate scheduling clash with her friend’s wedding but conveyed best wishes to Natasha while emphasizing her altruistic nature of putting others before herself.
