The remains of the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, have been brought back to Nigeria.
The plane carrying the body touched down at approximately 3:39 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Transported from Germany, where he passed away, the late Governor’s body was received by his wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, his children, and siblings led by Prof. Wole Akeredolu, his immediate younger brother.
Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu succumbed to prostate cancer on December 27, 2023, after a prolonged battle.
