A 300-level student of Biological Chemistry at the University of Port Harcourt was tragically discovered deceased in her boyfriend’s residence.
The young woman, known as Justina Otuene Nkang, was undertaking her industrial training at a private hospital in the D/Line area of Port Harcourt. She had been reported missing approximately four days ago.
The distressing events unfolded when her boyfriend, identified as Collins, was allegedly intercepted by a vigilante group at the Radio Estate, where he resides. He was purportedly attempting to dispose of her dismembered remains.
It is believed that Justina visited her boyfriend’s apartment four days prior, after completing her work, and had not been heard from since.
According to a source knowledgeable about the situation, the deceased’s decomposed body was found with some body parts, such as her breasts and private areas, missing.
The Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Polycarp Emeka, is expected to provide further information on this matter later today.
