US President Joe Biden has faced criticism for hosting a BBQ at the White House while a tense situation unfolds in the Middle East. As Hamas continues to hold Americans hostage and the conflict in Israel claims lives, there is growing concern over the President’s priorities.

While a band played on the White House lawn, pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside, chanting ‘Free Palestine’ and urging the US to reconsider its aid to Israel. The audible music raised questions among reporters about the President’s engagement with the crisis. In response, a spokesperson explained that the President and First Lady were hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence staff and their families.

Biden’s response to the unfolding events in Israel has been limited to confirming a phone call with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The news of the barbecue event has sparked outrage online, with some expressing frustration at the apparent lack of immediate action.

Podcaster Joey Mannarino voiced his concern, stating, ‘At least FOUR Americans are presumed dead in Israel, and Joe Biden is too busy having a BBQ party at the White House to care.’ Abigail Jackson, a spokesperson for Senator Josh Hawley, added, ‘Biden is literally at a BBQ with a live band right now; he’s not closely monitoring anything except maybe the chicken on his plate.’

Steve Guest highlighted that the National Security Council had claimed the President was ‘monitoring the situation closely’ while simultaneously hosting a barbecue.

Meanwhile, Israeli ambassador to the United States, Michael Herzog, confirmed earlier reports of multiple missing Americans following the Hamas attack. Later, at least four Americans were confirmed dead.

The situation on the ground remains dire, with Hamas holding more than 100 hostages and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reporting over 700 Israeli casualties, including 2,150 injured.

The terrorists targeted innocent revelers, and disturbing photos emerged of bodies piled up in a tent at the Supernova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im, close to the Gaza Strip. It is estimated that 260 people lost their lives during the event, which had between 3,000 to 4,000 attendees.

Drone footage provided a harrowing perspective of the event’s aftermath, shedding light on the full extent of the tragedy.

A chilling text message sent by an American man attending a desert party in Israel just moments before the Hamas attack serves as a poignant reminder of the horrifying events that unfolded. Hersh Golberg-Polin, 23, texted his parents ‘I love you, I’m sorry’ at 8.11am on Saturday, as Palestinian militants launched their brutal surprise attack during the Jewish high holiday.

The situation continues to develop, with the international community closely watching and calling for a resolution to the crisis.
