President Biden’s German shepherd, Commander, has once again bitten a Secret Service staff member.

The Secret Service reported in a statement on Tuesday, September 26th, that the incident occurred on Monday night, and the officer received treatment at the complex. Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi stated:

“On the evening of yesterday, at approximately 8 pm, a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer had an encounter with a First Family pet and was bitten.”

This marks the 11th instance where the dog has bitten a guard at either the White House or the Biden family’s residence. The White House press secretary has previously attributed these incidents to the stress associated with living in the White House.

None of the injuries detailed in the 194 pages of emails were categorized as serious. Additionally, the other Biden dog, Major, has also been involved in multiple biting incidents with Secret Service agents.

Major has since been relocated from the White House and now resides with friends of the Biden family. Commander first joined the White House as a puppy in 2021 and was a gift from Mr. Biden’s brother, James.

The First Family also has a cat named Willow.
