A bridge on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway collapsed in Enugu on Monday.
This information was officially communicated through a statement from Dan Nwomeh, the Head of Media at the Office of the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, on his social media account (formerly Twitter).
As per Nwomeh’s announcement, the government has issued a warning to drivers, advising them to steer clear of the route located between New Artisan and Naira Triangle in Enugu.
He added that federal and state officials had already arrived at the scene to mitigate the impact.
However, he did not disclose whether there were any casualties resulting from the Bridge collapse.
