A university student named Blessing Karami, who had been reported missing on September 11, has tragically been discovered deceased, as confirmed by police authorities on Thursday.

It has been reported that Blessing, a 26-year-old student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), was reported missing following her departure from her workplace in Garki, Abuja.

In an official statement, Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police, confirmed that the disappearance of Blessing Karami Moses, a 26-year-old woman missing since September 11, 2023, was reported to the police on September 14, 2023.

Tragically, her lifeless body was discovered in a wooded area in Karimo. The statement read, “On September 14, 2023, authorities were alerted to the unfortunate discovery of Blessing Karami Moses, a 26-year-old woman who had been missing since September 11, 2023, in a wooded area in Karimo.”

Under the guidance of Commissioner Haruna Garba, FCT Police Command’s spokesperson has announced their commitment to conducting a comprehensive and unbiased investigation into the tragic passing of Blessing Karami Moses.

“We are collaborating closely with the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) to ensure the respectful retrieval of the decomposed remains, recognizing the delicate nature of this endeavor. We remain dedicated to keeping the public informed as our investigation unfolds,” she emphasized.

Superintendent of Police Adeh also extended heartfelt condolences to Blessing’s family and loved ones in light of this unfortunate incident.
