A social-cultural group operating under the banner of the Northern Action Groups has firmly opposed the demand made by certain individuals calling for the removal of Mr. Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited.
The group credited the rise in daily crude oil production to the diligent efforts of NNPC Limited in combatting oil theft and pipeline attacks orchestrated by criminal elements.
Addressing the press in Abuja, the group’s spokesperson, Abdulhameed Enaji, emphasized that NNPC Limited had implemented strategic measures to protect and preserve the environment.
Furthermore, the group reported a significant reduction in pollution levels, enhancing the safety of the environment for the Nigerian population.
