Marking a remarkable milestone, Hollywood’s dynamic duo, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, joyfully celebrate their first-year wedding anniversary today, on August 21.
Taking to Instagram, the multi-talented actress graciously unveils a collection of unseen photos from their exquisite wedding ceremony, beautifully accompanied by a heartfelt message dedicated to her beloved husband.
“One year ago today,” Lopez reflected in her caption, followed by a heartfelt dedication of her song to Affleck. She expressed,”Dear Ben, as I sit here alone, gazing at my ring, I’m overcome with emotions.
“These feelings inspire me to sing,”the lyrics continued, “How did our journey lead us here, with no way to rewind? This is my reality, a tapestry of moments entwined…”
With her poignant anniversary wish, she affectionately concluded, “Yours always, Jennifer.”
The history of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck traces back to 2002 when their paths first crossed on the set of the movie Gigli. During this time, Lopez was married to Cris Judd, her second husband; however, their marriage concluded in 2003.
Following this, Lopez and Affleck initiated a romantic relationship that eventually led to their engagement. Regrettably, their love story was short-lived, resulting in their separation in 2004.
After nearly a decade of being apart, the pair reignited their connection in 2021, which ignited widespread speculation about them rekindling their romance.
In April 2022, Affleck once again proposed to the love of his life, presenting her with a stunning green diamond. Her response was a resounding “Yes!”
Subsequently, Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in an intimate Las Vegas wedding, a mere two months after their engagement. Their close family members were in attendance, including the actor from “Gone Girl,” who shares three children with his ex Jennifer Garner, and J.Lo, who has twins with her ex Marc Anthony.
