Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, also known as ‘Akpi,’ has recently taken to his Instagram page to express his frustration with a church located in the Ajah area of Lagos. The singer called out the church for the constant disturbance caused by what he referred to as “their noise.”

In a video he shared on his IG page, Speed Darlington criticized the church for their loud prayers and activities, which have been affecting his peace and sleep. He humorously pointed out that despite the years he has attended the church, he noticed that only a small number of people (just five individuals) among the congregation owned cars. He then sarcastically questioned the efficacy of their prayers, suggesting that it seems they are using their legs to pray rather than receiving any divine blessings.

The singer’s remarks highlight a common frustration that some people experience when living in close proximity to places of worship with loud or disruptive practices. While the video may contain humor, it also touches on the issue of noise pollution and how it can affect the daily lives of those living nearby.
