Nigerian celebrities have reacted over Mr. Macaroni and other peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters today.


Information gathered was that the comedian and 10 other peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters were arrested today at the Lekki tollgate for protesting against the reopening of the tollgate.

The protesters are insisting that the families of those who lost their lives on 20th October during #EndSARS protests at the tollgate, get justice before the tollgate could be reopened.

Many Nigerian celebrities have now taken to their respective social media platforms to condemn the arrest of peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters today.

Singer Falz said ; “I am tired of just coping. I am tired of just managing. This is a phyuking shithole we are living in and we simply cannot continue like this. They are using this threat of force & violence because they expect that we would naturally fear for our lives, but the life we dey live no kuku get meaning before”

Also Tacha tweeted; “Nigeria will crush and crumble your Mental Health! Leaving you traumatized and then look away! It’s beginning to be a norm!! My sad reality as a Nigerian. After all that went down Oct. 20th 2020! Our Government still never learn!! Nigeria sucks for real! This is not DEMOCRACY! There’s always so much energy on PEACEFUL PROTESTERS! #EndSARS But y’all is been fighting Boko Haram since 2002! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU
