He came back via his account on Gab, an American alternative social networking service known for its far-right userbase, which includes neo-Nazis, white supremacists, white nationalists and others.

According to Independent UK, Trump in his very first post uploaded his lawyer’s response to demands he testifies at his second impeachment hearing next week.

Trump had resorted to releasing statements from the Office of the Former President after he and his campaign team were removed from the internet by most of the conventional social media platforms.

Part of the lawyers’ response read, “We are in receipt of your latest public relations stunt.”

US Congressman Jamie Raskin had written letters to the ex-president, demanding that he appear before or during the trial, subject to cross-examination, pointing to the testimonies of former presidents Gerald Ford and Bill Clinton while in office.

“If you decline this invitation, we reserve any and all rights, including the right to establish at trial that your refusal to testify supports a strong adverse inference regarding your actions (and inaction)” on 6 January, the date of the riots inside the halls of Congress.
