Speaking on Channels Television’s current affairs programme on Monday night, July 13, Adeyemi said he was willing to appear publicly but was concerned about alleged threats to his safety.
“I’m ready to show my face. I’m not hiding. I’m only fearing for my life because I have it on good authority that my life is in danger,” he said.
Adeyemi alleged that there had been several attempts on his life but did not provide details or identify those he claimed were responsible.
“And I’m ready for that. There are several attempts to… my life,” he added.
His comments come amid growing controversy over the purported PFIPC, which the Presidency has repeatedly described as a non-existent government agency.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force is preparing to arraign Adeyemi before the Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of forgery, impersonation, and other related offences.
According to the charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, the police accused Adeyemi and two other defendants of committing eight offences, including forgery and impersonation.
Investigators also alleged that, before his arrest, Adeyemi operated the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council from the second floor of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase III, Abuja.
