Kanye West’s concert in Poland has been cancelled just days after the rapper postponed a show in France amid renewed backlash over his antisemitic comments.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Slaski Stadium director Adam Strzyzewski said the event, scheduled for June 19, 2026, at the stadium in Chorzow, would no longer go ahead. “We would like to inform you that the Ye (Kanye West) concert planned for June 19, 2026, at the Slaski Stadium will not take place due to formal and legal reasons,” he said.
Polish authorities had previously indicated they would seek to block the planned performance.
The cancellation, first reported by Wyborcza newspaper, follows a series of disruptions to West’s European tour plans. He was recently banned from entering the United Kingdom, forcing him to scrap scheduled appearances there. He also postponed a concert in Marseille, France, amid growing opposition from city officials.
Separately, the Wireless Festival has been cancelled following calls for the event to be scrapped over its decision to include West on the lineup despite his controversial history of antisemitic remarks.
Holocaust survivors and advocacy groups have also urged other European countries to take similar action against the rapper.
West has been barred from entering Australia, although he has still performed in the United States and Mexico City earlier this year.
