Police in Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are on the trail of a resident identified as Markus Ismaila over allegations that he stabbed his elder brother multiple times during a domestic argument.
The victim, Williams Ismaila, was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital, where he received treatment from health officials following the incident on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Narrating his ordeal to Daily Trust on Monday, Williams alleged that the suspect had eaten their elderly father’s breakfast.
According to him, when he confronted Markus, the suspect responded by insulting both him and their father. He added that another younger brother, who was also at home, was initially confronted by the suspect.
“He turned against him, engaging him in a fight, and when I tried to stop him, he brought out a knife and stabbed me in about five different spots on my body,” Williams said.
Another brother, John Ismaila, said he was at the back of the compound when he heard the confrontation and rushed inside.
“On getting there, our younger brother turned on me and started fighting me. He then went on to stab our elder brother multiple times with a knife,” John added.
