Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared her thoughts on the growing conversations around body image and cosmetic surgery.
In a video posted on Instagram, the actress said she has noticed many men advising women to “love themselves the way they are,” while the same people often bully women online over their bodies.
According to her, constant insults and pressure from the public are part of what push some women to consider changing their bodies.
She stressed that no amount of bullying or criticism would make her rush into any cosmetic procedure she does not personally want.
Nkechi Blessing also spoke proudly about her body, saying her stomach represents her journey and achievements.
She added that if she ever considers surgery, it would only be weight-loss surgery and not procedures intended to alter her body shape. The actress also advised young women who follow her to make decisions about their bodies based on what they truly want, rather than pressure from people online.
