There appears to be trouble in the marriage of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows Regina visibly distressed, lamenting the challenges she has endured in her marriage to the lawmaker.
According to movie producer Stanley On-Top, who shared the footage online, thugs allegedly sent by Senator Nwoko attacked the actress on Thursday night. However, her brothers were reportedly present and intervened to protect her.
In the video, Regina can be heard saying:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence; it is too much.”
The clip also captures what appears to be a confrontation between Regina’s brothers and some of the men allegedly involved in the attack.
