Billboard has unveiled its list of the Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time, with 2Face Idibia’s timeless classic African Queen claiming the number one spot.

Wizkid stands out as the only artist with two entries in the top 10 — Ojuelegba at number 2 and Essence featuring Tems at number 5.

Other notable tracks in the top 10 include Favour’s Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix) at number 3, Rema’s global hit Calm Down at number 4, and CKay’s Love Nwantiti at number 6. The list also features D’banj’s Oliver Twist (7), Davido’s Fall (8), Burna Boy’s Ye (9), and P-Square’s Chop My Money (Remix) featuring Akon (10).

Although Nigerian stars dominate the rankings, Ghana makes its mark with Fuse ODG’s Azonto featuring Itz Tiffany at number 18 and Sarkodie’s Adonai featuring Castro at number 19.

Just outside the top 10, Styl-Plus’ evergreen ballad Olufunmi is placed at number 11, while 9ice’s Gongo Aso follows at number 12. P-Square’s Do Me and Davido’s breakout hit Dami Duro hold spots 13 and 14 respectively.

Yemi Alade emerges as the highest-ranked female lead artist with her smash single Johnny at number 15.

The rest of the top 20 features Wande Coal’s Bumper to Bumper (17) and Phyno’s Fada Fada featuring Olamide (20), cementing Nigeria’s dominance in the genre’s global history.
