Nigerian singer Dare Art Alade and his wife, businesswoman Deola Art Alade, have shared a harrowing experience involving a car fire on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge.
In a post shared on both Darey and Deola’s Instagram pages, the couple revealed that their vehicle caught fire around 4 p.m. and was completely destroyed. Thankfully, no lives were lost in the incident.
“It was a shocking and painful experience, but we’re incredibly grateful that the driver made it out safely. No lives were lost, and that’s what truly matters,” the caption read.
The post carried a message of gratitude and reflection, emphasizing the fleeting nature of material possessions in contrast to the value of life and safety.
Darey and Deola stated that their reason for sharing the story was not to seek sympathy, but to encourage others who may be experiencing sudden loss.
“Things can be replaced. Lives cannot… We give thanks in all things. THANK YOU JESUS!!!” they wrote.
The couple also extended their heartfelt appreciation to those who stopped to help during the ordeal.
