The recent coup in Niger led by military leaders has resulted in the establishment of a new government, as announced through a decree broadcasted on national television this past Thursday.
Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine is set to helm the 21-member government, alongside military generals from the newly formed governing council who will oversee the defense and interior ministries.
