Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called on authorities to arrest social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, over her controversial cancer claims.
Taking to Instagram, Onuoha strongly criticized Blessing, expressing disbelief over her alleged stage 4 cancer diagnosis and condemning what she described as a serious act of deception.
According to the actress, the situation goes beyond a mere publicity stunt, especially as Blessing reportedly solicited financial support from the public while claiming to be critically ill.
“What Blessing CEO has done is not just disturbing—it is deeply troubling and completely unacceptable,” she wrote.
Onuoha accused Blessing of exploiting people’s emotions for financial gain, stating that presenting a false cancer diagnosis and appealing for donations amounts to fraud. She insisted that any money collected under such claims should be fully refunded.
She also raised concerns about the authenticity of the medical report linked to Blessing. Referencing statements from medical professionals who reportedly denied issuing the document, Onuoha described the situation as a potential case of forgery and identity misuse.
“You cannot orchestrate something like this and dismiss it as a test of love,” she added, stressing that manipulation and dishonesty should never be used to measure loyalty or support.
The actress further highlighted the broader impact of the controversy, noting that such actions could damage public trust and discourage people from supporting individuals genuinely battling life-threatening illnesses.
Calling for accountability, Onuoha urged both the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to take the matter seriously and investigate the allegations.
“This is not social media drama,” she emphasized. “It is a breach of trust and a serious offense that should not be ignored.”
