The Niger State Police Command has appealed to the public for help in locating the family of a young girl who was found abandoned in Minna.
The command’s spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday, March 30, 2026. He said the minor was abducted by unknown persons while hawking in Kebbi State.
According to him, the girl was discovered around the Obasanjo Complex in Minna on Saturday, March 28.
“During the interview, she stated that she was taken away by yet-to-be-identified persons from Warra in Kebbi State while hawking and was later abandoned in Minna,” the statement read.
“Efforts to locate her relatives are ongoing. Kindly call 08032233454 for further information.”
