The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially announced the timetable for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
The update was shared on WAEC’s official X (formerly Twitter) page on Monday, putting an end to the wait for many students preparing for the exams.
According to the released schedule, the examination will kick off on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and will run through to Friday, June 19, 2026.
The first set of papers will be the practical planning sessions for Foods and Nutrition as well as Home Management, setting the stage for the full examination period.
With the timetable now out, students are encouraged to start preparing seriously, organize their study plans, and stay focused ahead of the exams.
