A young boy has been left stranded after bandits attacked his family while they were travelling.
According to DanKatsina, a journalist who covers security issues in northwestern Nigeria, the boy was left alone following a brutal attack in Niger State.
“He was travelling with his parents between Bangi and Mangoro in Mariga Local Government Area when bandits ambushed them. His father was killed, and his mother was abducted,” he said.
The boy is currently in Mangoro, where he is hoping that relatives will recognise him from photos circulating online and come to his aid.
