A Muslim cleric has sparked debate online after claiming that a specific verse in the Qur’an, when recited, can protect someone from an armed robbery attack.
In a video that has since gone viral, the cleric, while preaching to fellow Muslim faithful, said that if a person is driving and notices suspected armed robbers trailing them, they can recite a portion of the Qur’an that would immediately transfer the fuel from the robbers’ vehicle to their own. According to him, this would leave the attackers stranded and enable the victim to escape.
The claim has generated mixed reactions on social media. While many people have dismissed it as unfounded, others insist that such verses exist in the Qur’an.
