The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that Mirabel, the young woman who went viral after claiming she was raped by an unknown man, is now in its custody.
On Thursday, February 19, Mirabel reportedly admitted that the allegation was false.
Speaking with LIB on the afternoon of February 20, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said Mirabel is currently in the command’s custody. He added that she is in good health and that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
