Family and friends have been thrown into mourning following the alleged murder of a businessman identified as David Dahbille Ndevino in Adamawa State.

It was gathered that David was beaten to death by unknown assailants on Monday, February 16, 2026.

According to one Nestor Dahni, the victim was attacked while heading home after purchasing goods for his shop in Numan. A motorcyclist he hired to help transport some of the goods was also attacked and is currently unconscious.

“This man (Hon. David) came to Numan yesterday to buy goods for his provision shop. His motorcycle (Bajaj) couldn’t carry everything, so he hired another bike rider to help transport some of the items.

It was getting late, so they decided to take a shortcut from Numan to Bille through Kona village.

Unfortunately, they never made it to Bille. They were attacked and beaten to death. The other rider survived but is still unconscious.

We are calling on the government and security agencies to investigate this murder.

This was not a robbery gone wrong; none of his belongings, including the motorcycles, were stolen.

We want to know who is responsible for this murder and what their motives were. We know he is gone, but we deserve to know why. Honorable David, may your soul rest in peace.”
