Ayo Labinjoh, who has long claimed that her teenage daughter, Anu Adeleke, was fathered by Nigerian music star Davido, has continued to publicly challenge the singer while making fresh allegations.
Ayo dismissed claims that she is trying to force Davido to accept her daughter as his child, pushing back against critics who accuse her of chasing the singer because of his wealth and status. According to her, Davido was neither wealthy nor famous when they first met, insisting that her actions have nothing to do with money or fame.
She explained that they met in February 2013 at the afterparty of Davido’s Dami Duro concert in Ibadan, describing him at the time as an upcoming artist and the son of a businessman. Ayo maintained that Davido is fully aware of their relationship and further alleged that he sent her money on the day of Anu’s naming ceremony in November 2013.
Addressing Davido’s claim that he conducted five DNA tests which proved Anu is not his daughter, Ayo flatly denied this. Instead, she alleged that the so-called “five DNA tests” referenced by the singer relate to his children from different women, not multiple tests conducted on Anu.
In a series of posts, Ayo questioned why people believe she would abandon her fight for her child’s identity if Davido had been poor. She reiterated that her concern has always been about Anu’s identity, not Davido’s success.
She also called out media personality Daddy Freeze over a live video in which he defended Davido. Ayo accused him of attempting to protect the singer’s image rather than encouraging an independent DNA test. She noted that despite the family’s history with DNA disputes, other prominent figures close to the Adelekes have chosen not to publicly intervene.
Ayo further alleged that Davido contacted her via a video call in November 2025, the same day his #5Alive concert took place in Ibadan. She questioned his motive for reaching out after years of alleged absence, asking whether it was for a DNA test or due to renewed interest sparked by her daughter’s social media presence.
In her closing remarks, Ayo accused Davido of abandoning his responsibilities, stating that only the two of them truly know what transpired in February 2013. She emphasized that her strength and confidence remain rooted in her faith, as she continues to seek recognition and justice for her daughter.
All allegations remain claims made by Ayo Labinjoh, and Davido has consistently denied being Anu Adeleke’s father.
