A Nigerian woman has urged residents of Lagos State to exercise caution when using commercial buses after she reportedly spotted bedbugs in a bus she boarded.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman warned that unsuspecting passengers could unknowingly carry the insects home after using public transportation.
Describing the situation as alarming, she advised commuters to be vigilant, especially during the festive season. According to her, there is a growing infestation of bedbugs in some Lagos buses.
“It’s the Christmas season. If you’re in Lagos, please avoid public transport if you can. Book an online cab if it’s affordable. There’s a widespread infestation of bedbugs on Lagos buses. I’m creating awareness so you don’t get on a bus and end up taking bedbugs home,” she said.
