Things got heated in the Big Brother Naija house today following a dramatic confrontation between housemates Mide and Zita in the kitchen.
The altercation reportedly began when Mide was preparing a meal for herself and a few other housemates. According to her, she asked Zita how she could assist, but Zita allegedly replied, “I don’t know, fine girl,” which Mide perceived as dismissive and rude. Frustrated, she later vented to Danboskid — who also happens to be Zita’s love interest in the house.
While Zita initially appeared unbothered, tensions escalated when Mide told her to “shut up” during a follow-up exchange. That remark lit the fuse.
Zita snapped, demanding to know why Mide would speak to her that way. The argument quickly turned into a shouting match, with both women exchanging harsh words. Zita went as far as calling Mide a “dumb a** b**tch” and, in a moment of high tension, used a pot to knock a knife out of Mide’s hand.
Mide had been holding the knife while cooking and reportedly wasn’t being aggressive, but Zita claimed she reacted because the knife was slightly pointed in her direction during the verbal exchange.
Danboskid stepped in to restrain Zita, while another housemate intervened to hold Mide back, preventing the situation from spiraling further.
