Former Arsenal star Thomas Partey has been formally charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, the charges involve three different women and relate to incidents that allegedly occurred between 2021 and 2022.
As reported by the Daily Star, two of the rape charges pertain to one woman, three to another, while the sexual assault charge involves a third woman.
Investigations began in February 2022 following an initial report made to the police.
Partey, 32, is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
