The final wish of Nigerian billionaire philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, to be buried in the holy city of Madina has been granted by the Saudi Arabian government.
In a brief statement shared on Facebook, the late business mogul’s secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, confirmed that the necessary clearance had been secured to transfer Dantata’s remains from Abu Dhabi to Madina.
“Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God. Approval has been obtained to transport Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning, God willing,” Junaidu wrote.
Alhaji Dantata died on the night of Friday, June 27, at the age of 94, following a brief illness. He passed away in a hospital in Abu Dhabi.
