Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama shared a rare family photo this week in celebration of their younger daughter Sasha’s 24th birthday.
The photo features the entire Obama family — Barack, Michelle, Sasha, and Malia — with their arms around one another, smiling warmly for the camera.
“Happy birthday, Sasha! Watching you grow into the incredible woman you are has been a true gift. I’ll always be proud of you and will always be here for you,” Barack, 63, captioned the heartfelt post.
Since leaving the White House, both Sasha and Malia have maintained more private lives compared to their parents. Malia, 26, has recently stepped into the film and television industry, making occasional public appearances related to her work. Meanwhile, Sasha has largely stayed out of the spotlight and is seldom seen at public events or in photographs.
