Taylor Swift has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Colorado man who allegedly visited her Los Angeles home multiple times and falsely claimed she is the mother of his child.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the pop star filed for the restraining order on Friday, identifying the man as Brian Jason Wagner. Swift alleged that Wagner made a series of delusional claims, including that he lived at her property, was in a relationship with her, and believed she was the mother of his son.
“All of which are untrue and disconnected from reality,” Swift stated in the filing.
The documents reveal that Wagner first appeared at Swift’s Los Angeles residence in 2024 and returned multiple times in July of that year. On at least one occasion, Wagner was reportedly carrying a glass bottle, which Swift’s team noted could have been used as a weapon.
In May 2025, Wagner allegedly returned again, claiming he was “checking on a friend”—a statement Swift called “entirely untrue.”
Further investigation by Swift’s security team uncovered that Wagner has a criminal history, including time served in prison. During his incarceration, he allegedly wrote lengthy letters to Swift, professing his infatuation and describing a fabricated romantic relationship with her.
The legal filing also alleges that Wagner fraudulently added Swift’s address to his driver’s license and attempted to redirect her mail to his own residence. He is also accused of sending threatening emails to her staff.
“I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,” Swift stated, adding that she now lives in “fear of imminent harm.”
A judge granted the temporary restraining order on Monday, June 9. It remains in effect until June 30.
Unfortunately, this is not Swift’s first encounter with obsessive fans. Over the years, several individuals have been arrested for attempting to get close to the Grammy-winning singer.
