Superintendent of Police (SP) Josephine Adeh Jose Adeh, the Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, has been named the Public Relations Officer of the Year 2024 at the Nigeria Police Commendation Night.
The runners-up were SP Tockukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra State Command, and DSP Maureen Chinaka, the Police Public Relations Officer for Abia State Command.
In an emotional response, SP Josephine expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force for recognizing her efforts.
“I am overwhelmed and emotional this evening. I never expected this, but I am glad I won. This award shows that the Inspector General of Police and the entire world are truly watching what we are doing. It serves as a motivation that all the hard work is not going unnoticed and is appreciated,” she said.
She dedicated the award to her boss and mentor, DIG Frank Mba, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Adejobi Olumuyiwa, members of the press, and the entire public.
The Public Relations Officer of the Year 2024 award received several nominations. After rigorous screening by the committee and the He-Feree Management team, three Public Relations Officers from the FCT, Abia, and Anambra State Commands were selected for the final stage.
